Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University organized “ABAC OPEN: 1st Golf Charity” on the 4th of October 2019 at The Legacy Golf Club, Panyaintra road Bangkok. The main goal of the event was to strengthen the communications between the current students, graduates and prominent businesses in Thai architecture and design industry. All income after expense would be donated towards the fundraising campaign for the construction of “Mae Fah Luang”; a learning center for Thai hill tribe community at Omkoi, Chiangmai and initiate further activities by the school and AU Alumni club.
The occasion attracted exceptional responses and interests from over 60 participants in the current school enrolments, alumni community, honourable guests from other universities and various contractor and construction companies. After the friendly golfing competition, the casual dinner was highlighted by a cherished award ceremony and entertained by music performances from AU members. The eventful night was delightfully embraced by enjoyment and laughter and served as a benchmark for future activities from the school and the alumni club.
