The IND department will open a new elective course IND 4401 seminar in interior design under theme “Interactive Design” 3 credits on Tuesday morning This course will teach you how to use tools to control interactive action in space. For this class, you require to register IND 4401 and participate in Workshop “Color and Lighting” @Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo. With trip (12-18 March 2019) fee around 35000+ Thai baht (early bird price). Faculty training 2018
~Teacher has to learn new things!~
“Active Learning Strategies in the Design Disciplines” was the topic we listened to in the Faculty Training event on May 18, 2018. In the lecture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seri Wongmonta, the speaker, convinced us that we adopt a new teaching concept through a technique of “inspiration, motivation, and cultivation” in teaching our classes. Inspire, motivate, and cultivate students a sense of excellence in excelling their tasks and this will uplift the quality holistically. Teachers act as facilitators and organizers and engage students with the issues taught. And the most effective active learning is via problem-base learning.
The lecture is definitely thoughtful and believed compatible and also would enhance our new curriculums in the upcoming academic year.
So let’s be active and engage!

Hyper Bamboo| Kinetic Façade” International workshop
In 2017 is the 4 th anniversary of international workshop and academic partnership in cooperation with Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Germany and Faculty of Landscape Sciences and Geomatics, Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University of Thailand (AAU) as hosts the international workshop in topic “Hyper Bamboo| Kinetic Façade” from 4th to 14th July 2017.
Participants are including under-graduate, post-graduate students 48 students and 10 professors. The international workshop aims to deliver subject-related knowledge in bamboo facade design focusing on movable architectural elements/flexible space concept. Discussions and impulses during the workshop will include the integration of local material (bamboo) to create an economical, flexible, and sustainable architecture. Students will get the opportunity to experiment, develop and prototype their own design and learn to solve all unforeseen problem in actual constructions. The activities are also responsible for arranging the lecturers, a block seminar, excursions and hand on workshops.
